​We are excited to be within one week of the 2025 Akron Pride Festival, kicking off on Saturday, August 23 with the annual Equity March at 10 AM! 

Please carefully review this email, because it contains essential information for your planning. As a confirmed sponsor at the Akron Pride Festival, you have two options on when you would like to set up your space at the Festival. You chose this on the form that you completed when registering.

You can choose from this link if you have not already. 

FRIDAY AFTERNOON (BETWEEN 3 PM and 5 PM)

SATURDAY MORNING (BETWEEN 7 AM and 9:00 AM).

Use the maps below to choose where you will enter near State St.  

                Pull into Lock 3, there are two spots (Towpath and Alley).

Check in will be inside of LOCK 3 and enter at STATE ST. with the help of the maps below.

             
Upon arrival:

Find the event organizer and check in to find your space number. They should be stationed near the entrances given on maps inside the park.  Tented vendors drive into the park to unload their vehicles.     A volunteer will escort you to your space.Saturday evening: If a tented vendor wishes to leave early or before we allow cars back into the area, they must cart their things outside of the festival footprint.

If you choose to set-up Saturday morning, please note that we have a short window for set-up and a narrow festival footprint. Therefore, we require vendors to find their spot, unload their vehicles, remove their vehicles from the footprint and find parking for the day. 

Recommended: State St. deck.

 Please note that no cars may enter on the festival footprint after 9:15 AM.

 

ou may tear down early, but will need to do so on foot. Wagons are helpful.

 

Note: A few sponsors/vehicles,(like year's past) have other locations on the footprint, you will be contacted separately or have been.  Please follow those instructions, over the ones contained in this email.

 

Preferred parking for our Sponsors will be the State St. deck 

at 9:15 AM Main St. will be closed at State St. but the parking garage entrance remains open. The parking lot entrance is on STATE ST. and overlooks Lock3.

 

Please note that road closures and traffic patterns are subject to change and as always, we’ll need to have a spirit of flexibility and unity to make this complex set-up process as smooth and joyful as possible. We are so appreciative of your support for the Akron Pride Festival, and if you have any questions between now and then, just reply to this email. 

 

We ask for grace through this process. It is an amazing day. Patience and care are appreciated as we move over 300 vendors onto the footprint.
